WHAT TO EXPECT

Each new client is required to take an introductory session prior to joining a group class.

INTRODUCTORY SESSION

Upon  arrival your paper work will be collected. Our Pilates instructor will then discuss your goals, concerns and answer any questions you may have about our studio or pilates. You will then be introduced to the equipment, learning how each work and how to to safely operate, with our assistance.  Your instructor will then walk you through the basic Pilates principles; core activation, alignment, and breath; while noticing posture, faulty movement patterns and/or muscle imbalances, helping you to understand how to get the most out of your Pilates sessions.

After your session concludes you and your instructor will discuss a plan of action to best assist you in reaching your goals. This may include our recommendation on how often, and whether additional privates, or group classes is right for you. Videos for home practice will also be made available to you.

** For those with injuries or conditions that require special attention book a time to call and let us help you decide if pilates is right for you.

Rae R.

“She has always structured her program to fit the needs of each of her clients, no matter the class size. Which bring me to “class size” she keeps small intimate instruction so she can give each and every one a more one on one experience even while in a group setting. She is mindful of how your body is feeling on the day of class and also is considerate of any long term/short term injuries that need special attention. "
