JULIANNE SCOLES (OWNER)
Julianne has over 10 years of experience teaching pilates, and has a background in dance both competitively and professionally. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Interpersonal Communications from Cal State Long Beach, and was Certified in Pilates in 2009 from PILATES SPORTS CENTER. Since then Julianne has completed training in Pre/Post natal Pilates and Pilates for osteoporosis, she has studied under Madeline Black and continues to take workshops to further her knowledge in the field. She has 2 years of experience working under a physical therapist where she honed her skills and learned how to safely and confidently work with a variety of pathologies, including but not limited to low back pain, bulging/herniated disks, spinal stenosis, spondylothesis, diastasis recti, shoulder surgeries, and hip replacements.
Julianne has a passion for helping people learn how to move well, so they are able to live healthier more functional lives, and continue doing the things they love!
Angela offers more than 10 years of experience teaching Pilates. She is certified with one of the top leaders in the Pilates world, Tom McCook, through PhysicalMind institute. In addition, Angela achieved her certificate for personal training and sports massage through De Anza College in 2005. She has worked for many years as a physical therapy aide which gives her the experience to safely work with those who are challenged with any physical limitation. Her years of experience allow her to develop safe and effective fitness routines for all abilities, while being able to tap into and maximize each student's potential. She enjoys teaching her students how to achieve long, lean muscle, deep core strength, and balanced posture. Angela also enjoys teaching yoga, barre, heated classes, and basic strength training. She loves to create a fun, welcoming and challenging environment for her clients to feel accomplished, healthy and happy!!
